well i managed to get some more official poker time past the gf on sat,
so with things getting desperate on stars i needed a good one!!
well i started with a $1 45 man tourny, was planning to wait my time which went ok but eventually i went out in 31st!!
so what to do?? decided it was time for shit or bust!!
i played a $5 single table, and was awesome got heads up but couldn't seal the deal, but 2nd and $13.50 was just what i needed!!
i also played a $1.50 18 man tourny and came 3rd when it seemed i was destined for another heads up battle, here is the last hand
2nd in chips and i flop a gutshot str8 flush draw figured if i pushed had as much chance of hiting str8 or flush or str8 flush as not and given my chips he could fold, seems i was wrong!!
any thoughts??
also i been looking at some other sites as i dont think stars got many good daily tournys like 5k/10k guaranteed
any thoughts on these sites- partypoker,pacific/888, william hill & ladbrokes??
know where i can get a good rakeback on these sites??

party dont do rakeback..(if you ever find out they do plz let me know) BUT try http://www.rakebreak.com for some very good deals. I have rakeback on most sites via these guys and they always pay on time every month.
william hill is offering 55% rakeback i think
if u really want the rakeback u should try that out... i know worldpokerexchange gives 100% rakeback but not a lotta ppl play on that site and plus the software sux in my opinion...
Hey King, comments about that hand of yours str flush draw heads up. i got to be honest here and say that i think with your chip stack and blinds at what they are that your going to go bust on this hand, because i know i am.
Once you call his raise what sort of flop are you looking at playing back at him with.
His raise after the flop can be any sort of continuation bet and i will be honest i cannot see myself getting away from this hand of yours. The only way you can is if your prepared to min reraise and find out where you are but then again you not leaving yourself with many chips.
I think in your shoes most players go bust here you have 9 hearts and 3 for the str so you have 12 outs and of course you dont know if your 2 holes cards are live either as he could be playing to overcards. So in theory your push here is fine, sometimes you'll hit these and today you missed - its just one of those hands when the chips are going into the middle

Dude Will Hill, Ladbrooks etc is all on the Cryptologic network. So is Interpoker, who I play with (the best deals imho). Its true you dont have the range of players that you get on pp or stars or even Playtech(BlueSquares new network)and at 3am it is totally shite for mtts, but it is mainly Brits on there and thats what I love about it. Plus you can put your photo up now.

That srt8 draw flush draw. Man thats a lucky hand to get. Thats like 60% chance of hitting. I'm a gambler so if I get that in a cash game and I think my opponent has hit top pair, I will push. Not to knock him off the pot, but because I know, he knows, this is his best chance of winning. If you flat call here and turn makes a flush or a srt8 draw then he aint gonna call no jam or big raise. I always say maximise on the flop even tho this maximises your losses if u miss.
